South Korea 8 Days/7 Nights Featured

Day 01: Welcome to Seoul

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and get settled in. Spend the rest of the day as you please.

 

Day 02: Jeju Island

Transfer to Gimpo Airport for your flight to Jeju. Visit the Yongduam Rock, which is also called the Dragon Head Rock due to its unique shape. The spot is especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset.

 

Day 03: Jeju Sightseeing

Start off the tour at the Manjanggul Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the finest lava tunnels in the world and a designated natural monument. A lava tunnel is formed when the lava that was deep in the ground spouts from the peak and flows to the surface. Another heritage site in Jeju is Seongsan Sunrise Peak, the most famous place to watch the sunrise on Jeju Island. It attracts a large crowd of tourists throughout the year.Next is Seongeup Folk Village, which showcases the unique culture of Jeju Island. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down from generation to generation and include treasures such as Confucian Shrines, ancient government offices, stone statues, large millstones (pulled by horses or oxen), fortress ruins, and stone monuments.Visit a Tangerine Orchard (seasonal) where you will see real mandarin orange plants and get to pluck fresh oranges from trees. Take a thrilling horse-riding or ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) adventure afterwards.Guests can also visit the Jeju Ice Museum and Bucket List Art and 5D Fantasy World.

 

Day 04: Jeju Sightseeing

Sightseeing commences with a visit to Jeju National Museum, a historical museum that displays, preserves andstudies Jeju Island’s historical and cultural assets. Jeju National Museum houses various remains excavated from ruins,including meaningful relics from the prehistoric age through to the Joseon Dynasty.Another interesting stop is the Jeju Glass Castle, which will surely entrance visitors with its magical atmosphere. There isa glass art theme park that features an exhibition hall, garden and models—all made entirely out of glass. There are sixthemed model parks, in which over two hundred and fifty models are exhibited.Next on the list is the Teddy Bear Museum, which houses an impressive variety of bears from various countries. End thetour with a stop at the Cheonjeyeon Falls, nicknamed ‘The Pond of God’. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives,such as the rare ‘solipnan’ reeds. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and third waterfalls, and thenflows into the sea.

 

Day 05: Jeju – Seoul – Kangwondo

Head out to the Korean Traditional Culture Experience Centre and see how kimchi is made, try on the Korean traditionalcostume, and learn how locals make fresh ginseng milk.Stop by Yeoju Premium Outlet, Korea’s very first and only authentic premium designer outlet operated by ShinsegaeChelsea. Day 06: Kangwondo – Seoul

First stop for the day is the Coffee Museum, where guests will have the chance to roast coffee. Visit Everland, South Korea’slargest theme park that opened its doors in 2007. The park is ranked tenth in the world for the number of visitors per year.Along with its main attractions, Everland also includes a zoo and a water park known as Caribbean Bay filled with excitingattractions and entertainment.

 

Day 07: Seoul City Sightseeing

Visit Namsangol Traditional Hanok Village and see well preserved Korean traditional houses. Next stop is the Blue House.The signature markings of the Presidential Residence of Cheongwadae are its blue tiles—the first thing that catches one’sattention upon entering the premises. The blue tiles and the smooth roof blend beautifully with Mt. Bugaksan in thebackdrop.Check out the Seaweed Museum, an interesting place where visitors can see seaweeds grown on the rocks and thentoasted dry so they’re ready for consumption.Head to Myeongdong Street with its towering super stores of Migliore, Lotte Department Store, Avatar and HighHarriet and its cozy, mom-and-pop shops lining the side streets, Myeongdong surely has something for everyone.Everything is within walking distance and there is an endless list of restaurants and cafes for hungry shoppers.Dongdaemun is one of Korea’s most representative markets and is the largest of its kind in Asia. There are over 5,000shops located in this district, selling various fabrics, materials, accessories, wedding products, and more.

 

Day 08: Incheon

 

Spend your last day in South Korea by visiting the Natural Health Showroom and discover how you can improve your health. Some other popular hotspots are the noraebang (karaoke rooms), DVD cafes, PC cafes, and plenty of other places where young people relax and have fun. Buy souvenirs at local product shops for family and friends back home. Finally,transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
